Dan came to Knoxville from Memphis in 1985 to be on staff at Calvary, and became Senior Pastor in 2001. He and his wife Kathy live in west Knoxville and have three children and three grandchildren they enjoy. They love Calvary's heart to reach people at the university and all over the community as well as around the world. Dan serves on the boards at Grace Fellowship International and Calvary Road Ministries.

Kevin Atkins | Worship pastor
Kevin has been worship pastor at Calvary since 2007. His desire is to lead, equip and inspire people of all ages to worship God through the arts. He holds degrees in church music from Carson-Newman University and Lee University. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys movies, basketball, water sports, and keeping up with his three children.

JT WHITE | NEXTGEN PASTOR
JT has been a part of the Calvary team since January 2022. He is originally from Bryson City, North Carolina and moved to Knoxville in 2010 to attend the University of Tennessee, graduating with a degree in History. He received his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is married to Alli and they have two sons, Hudson and Haddon. JT and Alli have been ministering to kids, students, and their families together since their college days at UT and have a heart for pointing families into a deeper, life-changing relationship with Christ.

Melissa Fesler | Ministry Assistant
Melissa joined the Calvary team in 2018. She grew up in McMinn County and majored in Engineering at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. Married with two children and two cats, Melissa and her family have made Knoxville and Calvary their home since 2008. When she isn't taking care of business in the church office she enjoys family time, crocheting, and knitting.
