Dan came to Knoxville from Memphis in 1985 to be on staff at Calvary, and became Senior Pastor in 2001. He and his wife Kathy live in west Knoxville and have three children (two married) and two grandchildren they enjoy. They love Calvary's heart to reach people at the university and all over the community as well as around the world. Dan serves on the boards at Grace Fellowship International and Calvary Road Ministries.
Joe began following Jesus and was discipled as a college student at Calvary...and even met his wife in the College Ministry here! He considers it a privilege to have served as Calvary's College Minister since 1990. Joe loves hanging out with college students and encouraging them on their spiritual journey...he says it's the most exciting ministry in the world!
Kevin has been worship leader at Calvary since 2007. His desire is to lead, equip and inspire people of all ages to worship God through the arts. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and Lee University. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys movies, basketball, water sports, and keeping up with his three children.
Daniel joined the Calvary staff in Fall 2015. He is a native of Maryville, TN and graduate of Carson-Newman University where he played on the tennis team. He is passionate about connecting with students and helping them grow in their faith. He and his wife have two dogs which keep them very busy!
Shelley Jo joined the Calvary staff in October 2017. She has a huge passion for partnering with parents as they disciple their children and grow in their faith together. Seeing children be transformed by the Gospel is her favorite thing to be a part of. Shelley Jo graduated from Belmont University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. When she isn't working she loves going hiking, camping, and hanging out with her dogs.
Andrew has been a follower of Christ since the age of eight. He started attending Calvary in July 2016. In January of this year he began serving in the children's ministry. Andrew is finishing his junior year at Moody Bible Institute where he is pursuing a degree in pastoral leadership in hopes of becoming a children's pastor. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and spending time with family and friends.
